I am unemployed.

That is painful to type. I’ve had a job since I was 17 – and now I don’t.

Winning Mark was so generous to keep me on through the month of November (despite the fact that the campaign ended November 2nd), but as of December 1st, I joined the thousands of other Americans struggling to find a job.

When I first began this blog, I hoped to document my life as a recent graduate in pursuit of employment. However, I found it too depressing to share. The lack of a glamorous job hurt my self esteem. Waitressing – back at my high school job – was not something I wanted to share. Now, a little more than a year later, I am again unemployed. I hope to successfully depict the ups and downs of job hunting this time around. I’m trying to put my ego to the side and tell the honest and whole truth about my adventures to find a job I love.

Thanks for reading!
